Could just be the engine trying to maintain the idle. Depend how bad it is.
Its not to difficult just take the intake off and then glean the area when the buttfly is with carb cleaner etc and clothes/tissues/ear buds.
Nice.
I do wish in some ways my old williams had ABS when driving on the roads. On circuit it was superb though those smoke clouds were worth the flats on the tyres.
The only proper blue clio was the Williams sacrolidge trying to copy it. (although I'll admit it does look good)
Pahh its got silly fly by wire throttle plus its still got enough electrics and computers.
Plus the issue is the cup is £1k more apparently which to me is silly.
I wasn't...
Check the abs selectro rings arn't damaged or the senor have been knocked and the sensors have the right amount of gaps (1mm is about right from memory althoug 0.7 to 1.25 mmis the tolerance from memory)
The mitsubishi evo fuel pumps fit in there from memory so there a cheap sourse of fuel just got to check the fuel pressure they run have a work with ben regards injectors he's using see what pressure he's speced them to run as I think evos' run 3.5 bar vs 3 bar for the clio setup. its not...
Should use proper Renault parts. Copy cat parts can cause this issue same for the bearing there some dangerously poor copy cat bits out there (and some big name places sell them)
I'd go for the full fat cup prices down now in the bad wetaheras no ABS etc scares people off.
I'd never pay more for a Cup the same or les always they were cheaper when new then again people pay extra in the summer for a summer fun car.
The CUp is more raw but realy the full fat would be...
I would serious get it fixed this weekend infact tomorrow is best.
Any motorparts factors sells the cylinder for £14 ~16 (theres two types so idealy stip your down see whcih you have and go get then when the cars in bits same goes for the drums there 3 typres from memory same price realy so...
If he's any good he can tell.
You can usualy tel the shafts just take the wheel off and have a look at the gaiter and try shke the shaft up and down etc if there play its worn get a new one.
For the bearing easy way to tell is try shake it at the 3 and 9 and then the 6 and 12 postions in...
Are you keeping the engine in the same place then or going to try move it back a bit to help with weight.
Since your going to need a beter pump odes that mean your looking at a race car fuel tank possibly? AKA the nana has?
Go back and tell them to do it right not just sort one track rod end.
Thats what they do they only adjust one so the wheels are straight and forget the wheel often it takes someone with some dedication to do it right to do the job right they need to lcok the wheel straigth and adjsut both...
I woulnd't worry about tha alarm get a new fitted if you want for safety the best thing about the Williams is its a stand alone system so switch it off like mine was an you only have to get the key cut to get it started not like the Mk2 owners who have to spend a fortune. The alarsma re old...
