the impreza was advertised at 5k but my vectra is up at a very reasonable price considering mileage, service history and new bits. Plus running cost will be half what the impreza is so it would have been worth his while putting the cash my way.
This guy wanted to swap an impreza wrx and £400 my way and was willing to drive down from scotland to do the deal. So i spent all of yesterday ringing round trying to get a decent deal on insurance which i finally did eventually, i got my brother to hpi the impreza as well, all the time i was...
i don't want to use the vectra as i'm going to get it all clean and polished up and i don't want it getting filthy with in ten minutes of driving.
I used my old clio daily for two years which was identical to this one as all my parts are off my old one but i've been spoilt, once you have got...
As the vectra is up for sale i thought i would stop putting miles on it and use the clio for daily purposes. I'm really not looking forward to this as i work at silly times so i'm going to wake the neighbours and no doubt get plenty of attention from the police as they are the only cars i see on...
It looks like i'm going to be having one of these for a while so how difficult and expensive would it be to get it looking like that? Or should i just sell it and have done?
brentacre are a good company i'm with them and they don't charge you for mods. Greenlight used to charge me a £25 admin fee everytime i changed something.
i can't even get insurance for less than £1100 i'm not paying that for something thats slow, drinks fuel and is an ugly f**ker. The vectra is such a bargain to run in comparison, insurance is half the price, fuel costs are half the price and tax is less too.
The vectra is nearly the same power...
just been offered an impreza for the vectra and money my way so it might be all change

Just been offered this impreza and £400 for the vectra i'm really tempted but getting insurance for a reasonable price is a nightmare due to the area and writing my last clio off.

yeah they swapped suspension in 2003 but it was only a bit of extra bracing. On the forums they say this doesn't matter if you are going to change suspension setups anyway. I'm planning on coilovers and up rated sway bars and rear cross bracing. I'm going to get it to the spec that people use...
hahaha scooby fail.
As for looks of the car i'm not bothered what it looks like if it handles well and is fast. The mx5's are a lot dearer for equivilent cars. i've looked at evos, scoobypoos and 200sx. I like light weight cars and rear wheel drive will make a nice change. I looked at vx...
I've just been to vauxhall as i kind of know a guy on the service desk. He's took down all the details of the car because he says people come in asking for them and he'll pass my details if someone is interested. Pistonheads is a bit of a waste of time now.
Upto now i've been offered a nissan cargo van on 165,000 miles and 3k cash and a pimped up mk4 euro style golf gttdi. Does nobody just buy cars with cash anymore?
