the old ones are big heavy barges, i want something small and light, i would have liked that mx5 of your mums but i've just not got any cash till the vectra sells.
people will see the mr2 and just think its a slow girls car so it'll make it more fun when its running big power.
The mx5 is far more expensive and there are loads about. I was going to supercharge the clio but it makes more sense to turbo an mr2 as its far more likely to be reliable and i like the idea of rear wheel drive for a change. This way i can just keep the ph1 as it is.
I'm considering getting an mr2 when the vectra sells if i like driving them. The plan is to concentrate on uprating all the handling while running standard power and getting used to rear wheel drive then after a while going straight for the stage three turbo kit pushing 240-260bhp at the rear...
I should have got some pics but it was far too cold. That girls car i went to see at carcraft was about 2.5k over priced the robbing gits. The guy said to me "just put it on finance" no thanks. Carcraft has to be the worst car dealership ever.
I've just put my car up on pistonheads if anyone is interested. It'll be sad to see it go but its time for a change.
Anyone looking for a quick diesel which is cheap to run and tax should seriously consider it. Its suprising how well it drives and handles, its perfect for a nice comfy run...
Re: Ben_stevo172 - Supercharged Monaco 172
All this excitement and it was a standard wrx lol. Rexe off here has just sold his for an evo as the wrx used to get blitzed by my clio.
before anything is said my clio was down to 920kg so had a far better power to weight ratio
the actual dash is easy to do its the wiring thats a nightmare. all the window switches are different, hazard switch, door lock button, recurculation and airconditioning.
Mine are the same but thats coz they are foooked. I'd suggest brembo hc disks, pf97 pads, braided lines and dot 5.1 fluid. Well thats what i'm getting.
So he is advertising he has a big system and showing his number plate, someone find where he lives take the system and replace with a note telling him how silly it is to post it on the tinterweb.
The evo is so much better than the impreza. i was following it down a single track country lane when going to take pictures and it just looked like a rally car. It also four wheel drifts far better than the under powered impreza ever could. :)
