PS not decaliring modification is stupid and illegal you might as well not bother insuring it.
The box is the same as the 100 box so yes its weak and yes it can fail but its not garenteed but even stock power can kill them with hard use. There not a good box realy.
Stock HP is the only safe level there always risks.

Yep shocks do wear a lot depending on loads of factors its aming how just a refesh helps few people even listen though and IMO stock is the better replacment shock.
Sounds more like the cambelt hasn't been done (should have ben done over a year ago) and now its snapped wrecking the engine.

Find out the fault codes.
There no idle control on the 1.2 its all via the throttle body check and clean that.
