Not wishing to put the compnay down im sure these are good but just because a company can make good stuff doens't mean they always do.
I think everyone would prefere it not to.
Depends what your looking for though.
THey won't be valve etc wise gaz are rubish IMO.
There back in business...
Clutches are the same
Chnage the clutch cable for an original renault one i bet you have a copy cat one there always rubish and cuase these problems
check the teetch on the clucth pedal as well for any broken ones but clutch cable is the most liky problem
Few main dealers, deal with alarms as there not fitted by them plus the renault sport models phase2 style have them elsewhere.
Why did youneed to pull a favour its ot exactly a secret
IF you'd search the forum you'd know post ive made on this subject time and time again and would keep away from spax at all costs. Either spend the money on good suspension or not at all.
The spax adjustbalility is usless you never use as its no use and there kit is poorly made and overpriced.
Don't try beat peoples time timing stupid there. Ive done a few laps (near 100 maybe this year alone)
10,15 is good when you think that fred hadn't done many laps etc but it depends on loads of factors if you compaire his times to mine then you'd wonder what fred was doing on his lap as that...
Keep filling it up otherwise you can have the box taken out and try seal it better but it needs to leak a bit anyway.

Depend what cam your running high long duration cams as such can cause problems for the ecu for the map sensor but a piggy back won't help in any way.
Piggy back is for when the stock ECU cannot be mapped or can be used for a cheap way of sorting the car if you turbo it as such.
You cna use the box ratios won't be that different just got to check you have the speedo sensor in the gearbox if you need it.
JB1 on a 16 16V doens't sound right though they should use the JB3 maybe its a 1.4 16V (engine look the same) as they use the jb1 boxes.
Stock ECU is more capable at running cams that the puggy back unit will. Piggy back units won't help run an advanced cam as such any better (they are likly to be worse) than a remapped ECU.
It would have to be a very strong cam as such not to run on stock ECU mapped correctly.
