ANy longer than 4 years and 60k I'd get them chnaged I've seen them go time and time again before 72k and 5 years and if you've no warently to fall back on just do it.
You'll hit the det limit of the fuel the exhaust isn't a problem realy just up the boost the boost cannot be upped though since the fuel will det you can fiddle for a bit with mapping/fuel used/water injectro etc but you cannot get away with it forever.

Be preparied for a shock there only a few none RS cars with the hydrolic rack (litrall 99.9999% use the electric rack) and the hydrolic rack is a different part (doens't mean it won't fit mind)

Undo the top mount for the strut under the bonnet
Undo the 2 bolts holding the shock to the hub
Unclip the ABS line from the shock
Wiggle the shock out
