looks in tip top condition, must have had some caring owners over the years, and a clio with over a 100k on the clock, how are they still running, they usually fall apart after the first few thousand
yeah theres a farm near me that sells eggs and has loads of wild cats/kittens, people drive up and whilst their parked the cats like the warm engine so climb up and find somewhere to sleep, a few have fallen out and died unfortunately :(
hmm black carbon on a black bonnet? wont stand out as much as if it were on say a silver car, but then again might be quite a nice little detail, however imo carbon vinyl never looks like the real thing
erm as long as the back of your car isnt slammed you could widen them as much as you want, and yes i would say 25mm would bring them out, worth checking by using a ruler and lining it up with the top of your tyre. Also, where abouts you from, i know your location says harrogate - york but im...
quick update, just recently fitted a recessed system from k tec, had a bit of a problem with the rear hanger as the campus one is not like a normal mk2, why did they have to make everything different
nah i run 25 front none on the back at the mo, cant really tell any difference, just be sure to check they are always tight after or before long journeys, might be me just been paranoid though, also make sure to get hubcentric(spacers that bolt to the hub first) as these are much safer
just saw back end poking out of the back, looked smart but couldnt get reg. just wondered if they were on here, was in the warehouse next to the phone repair place and the new Waitrose at Foss Islands
im getting 28.4mpg out of my 1.2 but then again cant imagine the way i drive helps that, always had a theory though, the bigger engined the car(more power) the less you have to "rag" it to make it move therefore getting better mpg
Do i need to put exhaust paste on the joint between the cat and the centre section? cheers guys sorry for the fussy question, just want to make sure i do everything spot on in the morning
cheers guys all sorted now, dropped the rear axle out and pulled it out, given up for tonight and grabbed a beer will fit the new system in the morning
My new k tec cat back system arrived today, for a 1.2 and i began fitting it today when i realised i couldnt get the old exhaust off, as its a one piece from the cat back? i rang k tec and they told me to saw it! but if possible i really wouldnt like to do this, anyone know how to get the off...
halford was the place they wanted £130 quid for the lead too, surely that cant be right! anyway i didnt buy it and now dont have steering wheel controls
i also discovered this problem, it only occurs when im parking or setting of slowly, im not too worried about it but would be nice to know what it is, i just presumed it was something rubbing
erm im not entirely sure might be around 2000, but as far as i know never had any problems with them. However i must admit atleast once a week i like to reassure myself they are still tight by tightening them up, and i also do this before and after a long motorway journey
ouch looks big, as stated in above post looks like you were driving right on the edge of the road lol. probably worth a claim though, worse comes to the worse council will say no, worth a try i guess
right as i saw them described in another thread, the best way to describe projectors is like a glass ball where the light comes out on main beam. As far as i know all standard road cars that come with xenons, come with projectors because of the way they disperse the light, (if you were to fit...
