my mums got a 318ci. m43 i think, might be a diff engine i can't remember, and hers got the same mayo on the dipstick. If you do a lot of start/stop journeys and havent changed oil recently it is pretty common.

you saw it on a dealers forecourt. Little bit different, Finance, warranty, Peace of mind (or so people think). Much different to selling privately. when selling privately you don't have a dealership and an army of staff to maintain, as well as making a profit.

yeh the mk2 ph2 was an unbelievable improvement. Love the look of the front end in 172 guide though.
