so many people out there doing it now though got to have something to attract people, sure he doesn't have a shortage of students. Probably young male ones. did i mention it was G Glitter school of driving ;)
thats why its cat C, needs to be taken for an identity check as it is considered likely to be ringed up. On modern cars its not as easy as that though as many items are identifiable to each vehicle. not just the usual vins.
i would definitely avoid the drilled disks, as said they crack. If your going to get some spend some money as cheap ones are garbage. stock items are fine for the track just upgrade the pads.
i did wonder wether it was becuase the battery was disconnected for a while. The UCH did get a little wet in the flood. But its not affected anything else. If i sit in the car and press the lock button it locks.
ph1 172. one key lights up when you press the button but doesn't deactivate immobilizer, other key doesn't light up but does start the car. It was flood damaged but all other electrics work just not the remote locking. Where is the Sensor located? and is there an easy way to tell wether its the...
why do they break down less? theyre virtually the same car... except the 182 has more electronic trickery to go wrong. Actually think about something before saying it.
Yeh it is, well im guessing they look at the estimate for parts and there is a cut off point where D becomes C based on % more to repair than the market Value.
yeh same condition. Usually to cost of repair is significantly more if its a C, hence it would be likely someone would ring it instead of repairing it, which is why they VIC it. As i say airbags etc from Renault are silly money.
yeh its Cat C for a reason and used parts arnet easy to come by, but i would imagine its the airbags/pretensioners etc that bump the price up a great deal.
no problems with the electrics really. Bit of a myth that came from earlier Renaults. Sometimes probems with resistor pack in heater but its a 5 min job to change and theyre not too expensive second hand.
i would go and give it some beans down the motorway. Cats can get a bit eggy smelling if not used for a bit. if its still smells the cat is nackered. Oh and if its no longer under warranty don't ring Renault $$$$$$$$
