Sounds Like one of the coils. Sometimes easy to tell if your noticing the problem at idle. Unplug them one at a time, the one that has no effect on the running is the one that is down, unplugging a good one will result in it running on 2 cylinders.

think they might struggle to sell it tbh. Unless someone uses it for track. Dash top probably will be easy to get and the passenger bag, pretensioners probs same as non RS, steering bag might be tricky to find as its got the cruise buttons and i imagine the front bumper etc are pretty expensive...

if its like a click noise that you can kind of feel through your hands my old 1.4 used to do it, never got to the bottom of it though sadly.

if you were doing 35 mpg. fuel is 99.9 around here so about 5 quid per gallon 8 gallons in 40 quid... 35MPG X 8 = 280 miles :)

have you bedded the pads in ok? usually makes a noise when you are slowing down to a stop. Kind of a grumbling grinding noise.

lol i think thats a little low. i would say about 4500 with full service history and the fact its had the belts done etc and is lower than average mileage.

Mask The Dash. Much less hassle than taking it out.. Mask all the front of the car as its worth it to prevent overspray. The Surround Doesn't clip out its tabs are plastic welded in.
