have you ever been to a car auction where dealers get their car from? It was listed on e-bay for a quick sale and thus a lower price is usually achieved. I don't see the Problem... he isn't ripping anyone off he is buying at a slight risk to sell on at a profit.

sounds like tensioner bearing... but it doesn't go away with revs... maybe your just not hearing it...

Value wise your missing the point completely... If it loses 15k its hardly a great deal of money really.. Think how much a merc S class loses.

Re: The End Might Be Nigh... really they should have got the colour chips out. Looks like a problem with the mixing, do they mix waterbased on site? or buy in? some stuff my painter does paintmatch wise is terrible... even with the right colour code.

if the linkage has moved the gear stick usually doesn't centre.... i would change the oil for the Recommended grade...
