Very clean '04 BG182 - Premier Inn, Rayleigh, Basildon

Parked up there yesterday. Looked standard apart from being lowered. Nice, clean example.

GT86 Turbo Wide Body from Manila

Tom and I are normally polar opposites on what we think looks good. But even scrabbling every bit of JDM/modding/homebrew appreciation I have - I couldn't like that car. Not a nice thing to look at, at all. Jack's image of the M3 however - now that looks superb.

Brake issue on the way home tonight....

The car is in the garage today - I'll update with the news that I get back.

182 - flashing coolant temp warning light...

I wonder if the issue is false reporting? It seems strange that a coolant problem would arise in March - unless it had dumped out a load of the stuff beforehand? Does a diagnostic check bring up any error codes?

Brake issue on the way home tonight....

Down sarf at the minute - but got Shelley to take a picture of the little oil pool when she got back tonight. Thankfully it's not grown in size since this morning, so it's not pouring out of its own accord. And yep, the car does need a wash! [emoji5]️

Brake issue on the way home tonight....

182 - they are the OEM items, so they are well over 10 years old now.

Brake issue on the way home tonight....

Haven't had the chance m8. I was on a flyer this morning as my fiancee dropped me off in her car. I guess a split hose is just as likely a candidate?

Brake issue on the way home tonight....

Thanks Mick - I think I might have found the culprit. I went to the car this morning and there was a small 3" pool of what looked like oil on the floor in front of one of the rear wheels. Clearly brake fluid - so I'm assuming the seal has perished on that corner. I'll get it booked into a...

Brake issue on the way home tonight....

Sounds major? Was it a big job?

Brake issue on the way home tonight....

Chaps, Set off home tonight and all was fine. Got about half a mile from work and went to cover my brakes into a left turn. The pedal went pretty much to the floor and I had that instant reaction to start slowing down with the aid of the handbrake. Pressing it harder, the brake (and I mean...

New owner of an AB 182! (pics)

P-Zeros are good too - but I'd leave them on the rear. I've found them to be very soft and get hammered on the front with 'enthusiastic' driving - lol :) In the 10 years I've had the 182, I think I've tried nearly every make and model of rubber that there is for these!

Those Sport Maxx's are really good all-rounder tyres. I was well impressed when I had them on mine.

    Deleting Songs from iPhone Issue

Go into your account (via iTunes on the PC) and and see what is being sync'd there. We had a nightmare at one point with something similar - we sorted it out within the account settings window.

    Deleting Songs from iPhone Issue

I personally like iTunes for 90%+ of the time - but there are occasions where it just drives you to despair. I think the biggest issue is that Apple are trying to cover all bases. The vast majority of phone users are either lazy, gormless, CBA, or simply don't have the patience to manage their...

Welcome back - always good to have some 'old timers' back on here! ;)

Gaming industry - an interesting breakdown...

I think that that boat has long since past. Sure, piracy exists still on all platforms, but I cannot honestly say when the last time I tried a pirated game on the PC was. The ease of use with platforms such as Steam and Origin and the significantly cheaper price-point on the PC to begin with -...

Gaming industry - an interesting breakdown...

I can see where you're coming from on that point as well, Andy. There's also a 'mindset' in to what is deemed an acceptable price for software on different platforms. Take GTAV for example. I was quite impressed buying it for £37.99 for the 360 when it first came out as a lot of places were...

Gaming industry - an interesting breakdown...

It's the variability of the PC platform that single-handedly wins it for me. The fact that last night I re-downloaded BF4 again with premium access and played around with the graphics to suit my priorities, was great. Of course, a lot of people CBA or don't want to be arsed with such...

Gaming industry - an interesting breakdown...

http://hexus.net/gaming/news/industry/81424-gaming-hardware-market-worth-67-billion-2014-pcs-dominate/ Handhelds are such a dinosaur these days. A shame too. I'd much rather game on the go with a handheld than use the limited functionality of a smartphone.

    Battlefield 4

Yep - various fixes and additions on different platforms. I'm going to be downloading this again on PC - it's been a while since I was on BF4.

    172 ph1 gearbox go bang!

Cub speaks the truth. Definitely consider doing this at the same time - it would be silly not to. Also, drop and change the gearbox oil on the replacement unit - unless of course decco says that it's recently been swapped out.

CLIO IV RS - Trophy from page 111

Looks pretty good - still too chunky like its had too many pies though. And stop/start is added? Whoopee-f**king-do. Good god - I HATE those systems - hopefully it could be deactivated? I get the rage with works cars that have it. If it saved me £1.5k per year in wasted fuel, I'd overlook the...

    [PC/XBone/PS4] Warframe

Certainly worth revisiting. I never tried it on initial release, but it seems to have had a significant revamp.

    [PC/XBone/PS4] Warframe

This is worth a look chaps - if you haven't had the chance already. It's a 3rd-person hack & shoot fest based in space (and presumably) - the future. http://store.steampowered.com/app/230410/ The default video is a little weird to show. The majority of the action is on the ground - not in...

Assetto Corsa.... Where the hell are you guys, you're missing out!

Looking good Andy! Are you going to charge more for people to obtain a Liquid Yellow than an Iliad or BG one?

Just how a Scoob should look imo. Great stance, flaps, correct colour - not OTT.

Lake Louise as in Canada??? Maybe I should have bought this when it was cheaper over Christmas?

    Truly lossless audio ripping?

Thread Revamp This is now beginning to bug me somewhat! I don't know if I'm being a completely OTT audiophile or not, but as downloadable media is far more prevalent to physical media, I really am struggling to find tracks that are of good enough quality. Take a trip to the usual iTunes and...

    SSD and Laptop Screen Questions?

Yeah - definitely recommend the SSD's - especially as the smaller sized ones aren't a great deal now - 120GB ones are sub £45 inc.VAT. Just make sure before you reformat, check in BIOS that the SSD/SATA interface is switched to AHCI - assuming it supports it. Much better for SSD usage.
