If you mod your 182 then the parts affected by the mods will not be covered under warrenty, but the rest of the car will. i.e. if you lower your car then Renault wont fix any...
I had a Mk1 Mr2, pretty quick, mid-engine rear wheel drive meant that I could slide the back end out round corners, easily the most enjoyable car Ive owned.
It looked the nicest car in its class at the time (especially in black). There is a Fiat dealer next to Renault, the plan was to test the Clio then the Punto - but the Clio was great, very quiet and comfy compared to the J-plate Clio I was driving at the time and the dealer was very helpful...
98mph - beat that!!
Thats as fast as I got in my 1.2 once, before I ran out of road, it took about 5 mins to get to that speed too.
Im sure I could break the ton if I took it on a bigger road, but I cant be arsed and dont see the point risking my licence.
£130/month for the car for another 18months :(
£58/month insurance
£40, roughly - I only use the car to get to work 16miles/day, and I drive like a little old lady most of the time so big mpg.

Yes, it is a standard speaker and today was the first time Id touched it - I have some old crappy speakers in the shed, I will temporarily hook one of them up to see if that solves the problem.
Cheers guys,
Mike.
The speaker in the right door (52 plate) has been cutting off every now and again - I found that a quick angry punch gets it working again. I took out the speaker thinking it was a loose wire but everything seemed solid enough, has anyone any ideas what it could be?
Cheers,
Mike.
Beast!! (thats if hes not talking sh*t). I would have thought a V6 Vectra engine would be a big b*****d to fit in a little Clio - wonder why no-one has thought of doing this before?
I had a 10 month policy last year with Admiral - and renewed it this year for another 10 months, monthly payments are cheaper and I can build up my no-claims after loosing them to some scumbag busting my door and nicking the radio.
How do other insurance companies know if you got your bonus in...
It will have a single slot CD player as standard, multi-changer was an optional extra - both will be controlled by the standard steering wheel controls/stalk control.
My mate has 4 cracking tattoos from the Midland Tattoo Centre there. The place is ran by the most talented tattoo artist Ive seen - recommend it to anyone.
Its actually off my works van, but has the same dials and keys as my 2002 Clio.
The spare ordinary key works great, the other key (with central locking button) wont start the engine - the imobiliser light flashes rapidly.
Taking it to Renault for re-programming means waiting for a quiet time...
I used to have a Belmont about 5 years ago, it had faded blue paint and a big dent in the side (my fault). I was shocked when it got robbed - thief must have been proper short sighted. Ugly b*****d of a car.
