It is a case of just swapping around two wires.
BrianR used to reply to this question everytype of weekend I just can't remember what wires exactly it was. I think what WayneG is saying is right though.
It is just something to do with clios IIRC.
Sam
Right so you think I am talking b****cks about the LSD thing and it makes no difference?
On a side note:
With left foot braking, especially on cars such as petrol clios (i.e. not turbo so nothing down low in the rev range) is it not slower as you can't select the right gear?
E.g:
You...
My excess is something like 600 atm.
I have chosen that as:
A/ It makes me value the car more, so drive slower.
B/ The insurance costs fall
C/ Unless the car is a right off I wouldn't claim anyway as it will hike up my next premium by far too much
Sam
It sounds stupid, I know but:
Wheels bolts - are they all tights, especially the fronts?
And the front suspension struts - nothing major happened to the top mounts? E.g. my ball bearing part of the strut top broke and caused a similar noise to what you are describing.
Sam
Yeah or the clips won't move outwards. You'll see.
It is a piss easy job, I do it every single day. I only had 1 wheel between two cars up until late last night.
Sam
It is bloody easy.
Turn the wheel 90 degrees. Push the airbag in. Using a screw driver force the clip off. Then rotate wheel 180 degrees and do the same thing with that clip.
Airbag comes out then theres a torx screw in there. Undo it until the last couple of threads hit the wheel off and...
Argh right ok, I thought it would be the shock that was the problem.
Jamie - watch it with taking out archliners. Thats what has given me so many problems with mine. The amount of s**t that gets in the fuse and wiring area is unbelieveable.
Sam
Don't worry about it, it will probably go off in a few days.
If it doesn't you could check the lambda sensors that go into the exhaust haven't come loose.
