Turns out Renault can no longer repalce the keys.
Suggest to takeit to a garage and have them replace them.
Is it a pretty simple fix? Ideas on a cost?
cheers
Was about to use my washer today when i tried to turn it on and nothing. Hvae only used it twice since buying it in Jan. Bosh aquawash.
ANyone got any ideas what to try. Have emailed the pople who i bought it off but just to see if anyone had a quick fix.

Rite thanks.
DO i have to go to the renault or is it worth phoning up? The closest one is around 30-40 miles and with work i dont have time to get up. Obv i will if i cant get them elsewhere.
Do 172's have the same keys? I know a guy close with one and that might be worth a bash?
Rite thanks.
How much would they cost thru renault? Il attacha pic of the design. Ive been able to put it back into shape. Do you think it would be possible to glue/solder back together?
cheers.
Help Please!
I was changing the back wheels to the front to make putting two new tyres on a little easier for my mate. Got one side done and was working on the back wheel when the locking nut just basically fell apart under mormal presure.
Ive got the parts of the jigsaw that fell off and the...
I think it will be the T1R's for just now. Really cant stretch to £80-90 with mot due in two weeks. Not sure il need new pads etc.
For when/if i get the T1R's are they better on the back putting the back PE2's on the front or just slap the T1R's on the front?
cheers.
Cheers for that.
Just noticed the front tyres on the car are some cheapy federal ones.
Toyo Proxes T1-R 205/45 R16 W x 2 for £150 fitted. Is that a good deal?
Hopefully get a few quid off as i know a few guys who work with blackcircles.
MOT due within 2 weeks and looks like i need two new tyres. Can someone confirm the sizes for the 182 for michelin pilot exaltos?
Trying to save as much as i ccan just now as i just shelled out 500 for the belts. What cheaper tyres would do a good/similar job. The michelin's on the back are...
This is happening on mine as well. Again its more noticeable when its cold. Cars in for the belts on friday and they are giveing it a once over before the MOT i na week or so. IS there anything i could ask them to look at to fix this?
Thanks.
yea it is. Its only a small tin on offer with an applicator. There was a small layer of dry wax on the top but i was told it would all be fine when mixed in etc... Smells pretty good!
Will give the car a going over this sunday. Might not do the whole thing and might opt to try and the...
Finally built up a few products and im ready to give the car a decent going over.
I know how to start out using the snow foam etc but using the following kit can people suggest the best way to go about getting the best results.
SRP, Tropicare Carnauba Paste Wax, Clay Magic Clay Kit, AG...
Right. Yea i understand it might indeed not need anything but do you guys know rough ideas for brake pads or usual standard parts that need replacing at the mot?
Its getting done at "the-garage" in Motherwell. £480 inc vat for both using QH parts which are ment to be very good. It was the best...
Booked in for both blet changes a week on friday and as i can get my mot done at that point (depending on time) i may get them to do the mot as well. The mot it self is only 30-50 quid but does anyone know roughly what may need replacing at this stage and rough prices. Its a 54 plate with 43k...
Thanks again fred.
Why would a QH aux belt Kit differ from a renault one? £120 saving looks pretty nice to me.
Il double check with renault near me and see if they can lower there price.
The parts the-garge use are - "Quinten Hazel" - anyone heard of?
They say they have never had any problems with these parts and includeall the tensioners etc...
To get the job done with full renault parts will be £680 inc vat.
Going on that final price it would be cheaper to go to reanault...
Thanks for the help Fred.
Ive emailed them back to find out a price using renault parts for the aux belt.
It was £550 inc all gen renault parts. Il see what they say and if its aroudn that mark i may just opt to go to my rneault dealer as they are closer and i suppose they may have more...
have spoke with them today and they have confirmed they know what they are doing and they have all the specialist tools. they have done the same jobs on othe 182's. they dont use renault gen parts tho. Is this something to consider? If they where to use Renautl parts it would be £550 inc vat for...
Not yet. I will email the girl back tomorow. Shes seems pretty good. If they do say its all okay etc its then a toss up between £120 saving/a day off/ killing a day in motherwell. Or Pay an extra £120, possibly have the car picked up taken away and brought back/No day off etc..
Decisions.
The place that quoted £480 seems to be a decent place. they tune cars etc and have a decent amount of years in the trade. Going with renault may be better i could imagine. Its also alot closer. Spending an extra £120 to get it done by renault closer to home may work out better.
Can anyone...
