Rear brakes binding....

  Megane R26
I recently had a service carried out by K-Tec and got an advisory that my rear brakes are badly worn and the near side caliper is also binding. I've ordered new brakes which i am going to fit this weekend however what would you guys recommmend that i do about the caliper? Give it a good clean as it is or take it apart a referb it?

Thanks for your help.

Was told the same but its my front ones so would like to know likewise.

Fitting new pads and discs tonight so if theres summin that could be done now that would save doing it later that would be handy.

mate strip the rear pads out, and clean up with a wire brush, clean any brake dust or much you see on the caliper itself, or by the securing slider clean up and re copper grease everything, iv done this on many clio's now, quite common because the rear brakes do such little work
