The inlet manifold totally changed the characteristics of the car, it makes power so much more smoother and a lot more bottom end. I can easily overtake cars at 80kph while being in 5th gear and even take off sometimes in 2nd accidentally and only really realize when I go to change to 2nd! Now...

sorry could some one please explain that as I know alot of the guys in oz have blue fin chips which is basically a remap ? I thought Megs would be very easy to gain more poke with more boost & tuning etc.

Can you tune turbo 225's and 250 / 265 and I assume 197's / 200 too right?

there has been an update I someone to tune the car at a much better price so who can help me out with a set of 197 cams ? I can arrrange to have them shipped to a freight forwarder and then have them shipped to me so. Also need to get options on the exhaust

Hey Guys After having my gearbox & Quaife rebuilt a O ring was missing between the diff shaft and drive shaft on the OS which caused the diff seal to leak as the drive shaft was hitting on the seal. I replaced the seal and installed the o ring but the stupid seal in still leaking. Pic 1...

so if I was to get a set of 197 cams for my RS2'd 182 I would struggle to find any one in Australia to correctly set up the timing?

all fixed, culprit was the missing o ring!

Update - It seems there is a little o ring that goes after the oil seal on the shaft coming out of the gearbox, the monkey that installed the gearbox left the o ring on the old gearbox which is what stops the drive shaft spline joint from moving to far forward and running into the gearbox seal I...

Cheers guys, ordered a new seal today from Renault, I think they got the conversion wrong as its $18 AU! but thats no drama, seal not just leaking in one day all the gear box oil I am pretty sure has drained out! My biggest concern is the shaft that joins the drive shaft and diff spline...

Of course not, wouldn't surprise me on the time quote as one of those 3 quoted 1.5+ days to simply change a gearbox.

the leak is clearly coming from where the gearbox meets the engine, he said when the sump was off he could see the fly wheel and it was nice and dry. it also did look like the seal along the rear of the sump (against firewall) was a tiny bit damp
