I've been told that this is not good practice, but if using heavyweight axle stands all over, I can't see how its any worse than relying on a pair of wheels not rolling away.
I can't find a bad report about H&R, but K-Tecs Ultimates are half the price from a company that usually sells quality stuff. A good compromise to save £100s for other mods?

Well if that was your point, you're not very good at explaining yourself. You said:
<you always see them on "done-up" cars, but never run of the mill cars owned by people in their 40's>
Neither part of the statement was accurate without further clarification so I was just confirming what you...
Do you have any evidence for this? I'd be interested and surprised if HIDs don't provide improved vision for the driver. All the evidence I've read suggests that improved output and colour temperature results in a clearer, longer view.

Insurance with 172 = £480 tpft with Adrian Fux, 2 yr NCB, 32 y/o
Yeah, I don't like Lexus lights on early Clios either. Bit too modern for my liking but each to his own. The originals suit the mk1s perfectly imho, but alas can't use HIDs : (
£15 unbelievable price tho!
And £500 with 35k, damn...
I know youre not really supposed to use the sticker of the alarm youre using, but do you think it really matters? The toad stickers match my bodywork better than others.
