My advice would be to ring Renault with the VIN no before you part with the cash. Just ask them about the original country of origin. If its EU destined youre cool for 3 years. Ive hear all sort of bollox about cyprus cars not have anti-corrosion etc.
Maybe Renault are having a rethink about...
Not sure but I think the sensor is in the passenger side wing-mirror housing, so if youve visibly had a knock there, they might try and wriggle out of the warranty as missuse.
These guys are meant to be ok and quite competetive, not purchased from them yet so cant tell you what the service like...

Ive tried getting to rear disks done a couple of times in past and both mechanics were really reluctant to do it.
Thats why I was nervous about doing it myself.
Thank you Ben, just wanted to know its not the nightmare I was led to believe.
Not too worried about the bearings as Ill hopefully have loads of cash in a couple of months to buy a new car. This is why I dont want to spend on it unneccessarily. But it wont pass its MOT the way they are...
Thanks Rob, Ive done disks before, its just that Ive heard that the rear ones on the Willy and Valver are heat bonded on. Which I find a bit wierd.
Just dont want to start something I cant finish, as I dont own a blow torch for example. At the end of the day I could take it to a garage and get...
Are they easy to replace on the Willy/Valver?
Ive heard they are bonded on at very high temperature, is this true?
My spanner skills are limited, so any tips /advice would be welcome.
That is dfinitely the best site I have seen on this matter.
Some very interesting facts there that contradict what I (and most people on here) think about the law and police procedures - which are two different things.
Nice one compocup
Just to be on the safe side, reduce all weight - spare etc.
Brother in law had one totally stripped out and it was very quick. He reckoned Rover put shed loads of extra weight in the door panels so that they would clunk better for a better percieved quality. He reckoned he took two or three...
Wow, thats an expensive map. Looks very cool though. Looking to order a 172 in the next few weeks and it would be nice but I can find my way to anywhere so easily, it would need to be very special - like play DVDs as well???
Must admit it does seem far too quick, perhaps a typo error (mph instead of kph)

LOL I actually found it dangerous driving at senible speeds because I just couldnt keep concentration, I was so bored. Cars appear in your blind spot so quickly. I find If Im driving quickly I am always on the lookout for something to go pete tong.
Had my works fuel card taken away end if march, but theyre paying be what I was using + extra to offset tax, but paying me in arrears so for once I thought Id drive my car sensibly (!!!!!) to see what sort of mpg could get. Although I reckon I ran it down to the last litre, I got 390 miles out...
Panic over, Got hold of a new one for only £79.
On closer inspection it looks easy too fit. The Haynes manual had put me off by saying there were loads of components and to not touch it yourself but I guess they are on about the drive mech.
Got a good mind to call the windscreen bloke back...
Good thinking Rob. Its just that I need it done extra quick as my garage is full of a mates furniture at the mo so Im having to park on the street at the mo.:(
Been a very long time since I had work done by Renault.
There was a post a few weeks back and most of you were saying Reno charge you around £35 an hour.
Renault Enfield have just quoted me £77 an hour + VAT
Are they taking the piss or what?
It was open and I was going some (but not rediculous speed)Dont think it was a brick because Im sure there isnt a bridge over the A41 at that point.
Scrappy sounds like a good Idea, hadnt thought of that. Looks like a bit of a mare to fit.
My sunroof decided to shatter on the way home last night.
Not covered by windscreen cover. Been quoted "not much change out of 600 quid mate"
Anyone know where I can get one cheaper?
Yeah. Some bloke in new 325 got a bit miffed because he couldnt catch me on the A41 last night. Whenever I had to slow for traffic he was so close behind I could hardly see his bonnet. Then bye bye when the road was clear.
Think Rob is right, theyre just upset because theyve paid shed loads...
