I would say softer than pe2 that's just my opinions, better grip than the pirelli p zeros I just took off all round, feel quite like the yoko parada spec2 I had once. For a road tyre they are fine.

Look like may have been old buttons for anti hijacking system from the alarm it used to have. Each time turn key on/off or door opens you have a set distance to enter a combination using the two buttons or it will cut out.
Love my desire be had a few weeks now and no gripes, size a little big but doesn't weigh as much as you think. No issues carrying around in jeans pocket etc battery life a bit short but I bought a car charger for less than a pint of beer for emergencies. Galaxy s2 not out when I upgraded...

It could be a sensor has started playing up since you custom map which is giving your higher afr but from what I remember I thought 12.1 afr was ok but not got any of my results to hand. What's your mpg like?

brembo hc front are fine for all kinds of use tbh and if your not on track std pads will do but if your commute or area you live as some fast country roads etc you may want to consider some mintex m1144/ferodo ds2500 loads of options but hc discs are fine

^ this, i looked round for a small torque wrench that does 14nm but not many of them about and figured i wouldnt ever use it for anything else so, nipped up.
as has been said, leave the coil pack on just the front few 10mm bolts which attach the upper and lower inlet together and two at the back. unclip the sensors and i just lifted it up and propped it out of the way.
