i fitted hu for customer and ran cables to rear (doorcards back seat), for exact same speakers. if going to halfords the edge sound alright, fli are better, and vibe are the best they offer. i tested but didnt fit them as i was doing a favour as someone hadnt ordered in correct stalk adapters...

most likely factory stereo fubar'd, stalk control/patch lead generally £15-20, n u can pick up a half decent stereo for under £100, depending on what inputs/ functions your looking for, would sound much better thru preouts rather than the output connector

had mine off for 8-10months, no shields no issues, but i have miltek duno if that makes any odds
