Basically my 182 has failed the mot for a leaking rear shock and cracked rear eibach sportline spring. I've got the standard cup pack springs and shocks in my garage so would just putting them on the rear be ok until I can get hold of some more just to get it through the mot which has expired...

Done my wishbones today, pretty rusted up so it was a nightmare and ruined a ball joint pinch bolt. Do I need to get 4 wheel alignment done or is regular alignment acceptable? Also anyone got a spare ball joint pinch bolt they want to sell me?

Think I've asked this before but has anyone ever gone from a 182 to vw transporter 102bhp? I know it will be horrible but I really need a van and would like some positive feedback, 0-60 in 18 seconds suppose it can be remapped for a bit more power and when up and running may not be too bad.

My ball joints look pretty rough and I was going to replace them before getting my tracking done having just put new inner tie rods and ends on. Is it likely that the wishbone bushes are shot as well at 71k?
