i would be tempted to go for a out of insurance cash settlement on that. quote for rear bumper, exhaust + hangers ( or maby just hangers) then rear bumper and paint.. plus a little for yourself..
did you also check the back edge that the bumper and boot runs against tho ?

2 major mistakes from the start... ir order for a layer of anything whetehr it be filler , Fglassz, primer , paint or whatever you need the surface to have a suitable key to it in order for teh new ''coat'' to stick. otherwise it wont bond.

judgement on when to use filler and when not is something that comes with experience... you will be surprised at what you can actually get out of a bumper without going to far
