    the trumpets sit right infront of the grill se get plenty of cold air direct to them. rather when on a normal setup the intake is at the back of the engine were all the warm air blows past.

    remove the ballasts at the front of the car dry cell battery change seats lighter steering wheel poly windows remove door electrics + sound deadenin+ braces remove dash + trim metal frame behind digi stack dash ( replacing heavier standard clocks) just a few that havnt been mentioned

    as andywa says.. there are good ones about but there are also so many bad ones. as he says they go on a quick course paint a few bits here n there then think they can do the lot. your best bet is just go to a decent bodyshop, it wont cost much more but its so much more worth it.. and your car...

    ahh i get you , thought it was just different bolt spacing on the hubs.. makes sense now. which of the 172's came with equal length shafts ? as thats what i have fitted was it the cup ?

    as some of you will know im doing a 172 conversion on my van, its pretty much finished now one of the last things i need is the ecu and uch i have to be compatible. as there both of different cars. am i better of unlocking my ecu so i dont have to take it to renault to get it reprogrammed...

    dunno if its the same but when this happens on moto-x bike plastics lots of boiling water or a heat gun normally brings the colour back
