How olds your car Dom? I'd get it done personally, get a renault specialist todo it, most back street places don't know you need to line the pump up, and you've got a pin for the cam.
Better safe than sorry, if it was my car I'd get it done (I left mine to 72K on a 2003 model)
Combine do you mean you've rounded the end of the head bolt off? Or do you mean you've ripped the threads out of the axle? What have you grinded - the head so you can pull the shock off, exposing the bolt on the axle?
Post up some pics if you can
Brake fluid resevoir is at the back of the engine, if you can imagine roughly where your brake pedal is, go forward and its in the engine bay, you'll need to take the engine cover off - T30 screws and its off. At the back, left hand side, about 5 inches down the bulkhead.
Its here lol...
You'll need to either repair the headlamp washers or just buy a new set (about £10 each) the problem is common as you say, and they'll only leak again sooner or later. Sounds like they've cracked or blocked if they don't work atall. They only work with dipped beam lights on just so you know...
When you push the pistons back, when you've finished doing the brakes, pump the brake pedal out a couple of times, then check the level. It should be more or less on the max line. To top it up just take the lid off and pour some in.
Surely the cars being driven on the road for hours at a time, above 2500rpm damage the environment more than holding it on 2500rpm for about 30 seconds? Bet they do both idle and fast idle tests when the M.O.T turn up lol
On level ground, on the front of the gearbox you'll see a plastic wing nut, take that out and you want it just to trickle out of that hole - thats the level plug.
Could be I've not known one that would actually stop the car starting, or make it cut out - dunno about you?
If the switch is knackered, the clutch on the compressor doesn't let the compressor spin or thats the way I've thought it was. Ie, thinks its got no pressure, no point spinning the...
Engine number is F4R-732 if thats the bit you want (Ph1-172)
VIN number as said is on your V5 and every cars different, the 4 digit type number is CB1C (Ph1-172 again) if its any help.
Decent re-map £325
Tuning Box £150
Injectors £100 each
Diesel pump £300
Is it really worth it if your spending £150-200 may aswell add another £150 on and get it done properly. Those prices are about the minimum aswell. Not saying a tuning box WILL damage your car but its far more likely to...
If you drive about with your foot on the clutch it makes it go a lot sooner, even just touching the pedal. My driving instructor used to go off on one if you left your foot hovering over the clutch.
Thats good going.
Assuming that you had new tyres fitted on the alloys? Even if they aren't, if they're rotational (Will have an arrow pointing forwards towards the front of the car) and they're backwards, it'll handle like a 3 legged camel.
Common problem on Clios with headlamp washers, they start leaking way too easy.
If your cars still under warranty I'd get it back to Renault get a new set fitted, if it isn't, I'd just live with it.
Top one just below and to the side of the oil filter is the oil level sensor - note how its at the same angle, and going in the same direction as the dipstick.
The washer will leak if you didn't change it, also when you remove the old oil filter, a bit of oil will come out and dribble down the block, did you wipe it when you had the filter off?
