1. Get a spare locker key thats the same and undo it
2. Get a spare locker key thats roughly the same, hammer it on and undo...
Thats cheap mate, ask for all the fault prinouts afterwards aswell and type them out mate. Also when they ring you to tell you what it is ask as many questions about the cure/fix as possible they'll more than likely give you a quote and name the part over the phone.
Mines had hard abuse from 69k to 85k at the minute, 4 oil changes in that time though only a few fire rings being the most major problems so far but 5 minute fix.
Edit- If the 100 had a decent and or 6 speed box, I'd have one in a flash.

Problem is 172/182 driveshafts on the front, and 1.2/1.4/1.5/1.6 drums on the back - amount of teeth on the driveshaft is different to the amount of teeth in the drum. Get a sport axle on it MATT BLACK sells them on here brand new.
Does it go off when you've stopped? and when you...
More than likely the TDC sensor for the starting issues...
See this thread
Only around £20 from renault you'll need wire strippers and a blow torch to do it properly. You can just get them off, tighten the terminals in the block plug and clean the sensor but not worth the hassle.
Misfires when...
Rear shoes can be tricky if you've never done a set before. It can also fail if the handbrakes not efficient enough but if it holds the car most places would pass it. When you say it doesn't work much if its on would it move easily say to pull off??
I'd just let them do it see what the result is.
