Round town the RT would be causing the 1.2 16vs trouble.A little more grunt and a little more pull low down due to being 8v. Short sharp bursts of 'go'ness.
Racing Blue in Coventry near the Ricoh. About 8.30pm, had a sticker under the centre brake light.
Was with Bmh.01 in 2 black Clios don't think you saw us.
I know someone who works for Renault trucks Benji he was saying when doing a clutch one day, the tech doing it couldn't be arsed to get the lift or whatever it is they use, and the box took the end of his fingers off, nice.
Yeah are you sure they changed the actual clutch, or just fixed your pedal ratchet and charged you for 4 hours labour lol.
Or was it a 'Willy Hybrid' with a 1.2 8v engine?
You don't lock the pump, just line the marks up. You lock the crank with a pin, and the cam with a pin. Yeah they are the right tools, the non threaded one (silver one) is for the cam.
The actual belt itself isn't that hard to do to be honest but I wouldn't do it if your not confident mate...
It'll say 'Test xxxA' on it somewhere with x's being the amps. Get the part number off it I'll see how much I can get you one if you want, althought to be honest I'd get a halfords one with a trade card , you get something stupid like 50% off price and 4 year warranty.
DCI batterys 600a so...
Nar thats PK6 in the trafic, the DCI100s 5 speed with reverse down and right. Not a round town type box if that makes sense, just likes cruising in 5th
Lol @ TomRTs slower. I'd happily 'race' any 1.2/1.4/1.6 now its sorted. Chuffing Injector, nuff said.
As for the DCI80 was side by side my mate in his 1.6 16v till about 50 then he edges away, both cars running perfect at the time, not running on 3 cylinders ;) (done this hundreds of times)...
Looked s**t, just looks like a cheap non-standard backbox (which it is) that sits below the bumper
didn't make that much difference to sound. The hangar is the same design its just modified. Didn't take long to fit on a ramp though.
edit- There is a 1.2 with one on here I'm sure I've seen the...
Eibach Sportlines are good for the money or I think spax/apex (choclate springs) are even cheaper theres a few more clued up people on this than me though.
Yeah as Iain said the fuel rail protecters there for a reason, stops petrol being sprayed over your nice hot engine in a crash.
Theres a pic of a V6 on here after the bloke took his rail protector off (he had a 2.0 Engine in the boot, and was reversing at the time)
