mmmmmm,
Sounds like a few minor things to be honest.
Passenger window could be the switch? Driver sounds like the switch to as it goes one way but not the other. Could be the regulator.
The 'mayo' under the cap is not nesecarily the head gasket as in the cold weather you can get a bit of...

Gonna be having my engine out soon to put in my other valver, gonna change the clutch and gearbox. Is there any trick to changing the clutch? Or is it a simple unbolt old and bolt on new?
Amir
The thermostat is in the passenger wing mirror and only came on the 16v and williams. Your gonna need a mirror and the wiring that plugs into the back of the clocks.

Just bought a project valver, there seems to be no power to the fuel pump. (Not priming when key is turned, and obviously not starting).
Now, i have checked the fuse, its fine, put a multi meter on the pump itself and theres no power going to.
Anyome help me out?

Thanks for all your concern, she lives to fight...
Well it was bound to happen after nearly a year and a half of trouble free motoring, she finally gave up :(
Looks as though some damp has got into the wiring and cause a shortage. Theres no power to the crank sensor therefor no fueling or spark.
So roll on tomorrow so i can get the damn...
