Ive just had the caps off the back of the lights. Seems the optic light is not a H7 as its only got one prong? Can anyone tell me if its the same on the 197 and if its possible for hids to go in? Dont really wanna take the bumper off till i know for certain. Cheers Lew

Yeah, liked the turnout but the only downside is that renaults have soft paint so it looks like ill be doing it more often!!!!

mtx thunder ones, i think they are 85 or 90 watts rms which is loud enough for me. The dvd unit is 4x60w so there is pleanty of power but i mainly wanted less distortion. The standard blankpunkt ones are paper garbage!!!! The monitor isnt really used unless the sat nav is on, or the other half...

I went to see my friend the other week who had a black punto in his workshop. The rear clusters were fully blacked out and i gave my opinion that they looked pretty cool. Turned out that he had used a pair of his girlfriends tights!!!!! Quite unusual and funny mod!!!!

I changed the door components yesterday to something a little better. I took the factory stereo out and there is hardly any room for the wires to move around? I tried putting it back in but the wires keep getting stuck so it wont go fully in. Tried tying it to a rod, rope etc but cant drop it...

Usually your looking at 16000 for the sport version with a cup chasis. Have a look on ebay, there is a couple on there

yeah, the only downside is that youve got to do it from inside the car, not when you lock the car but i can live with that

Yeah i agree, the cloth is a little on the thin side. I know the recaros direct are double the money than from factory but i think ill make tthe jump because i can pick what style i want then. Nice S3 bytherway ;)

Yeah the spoiler is a bit touch and go for me, the only thing i really hate is the screw heads that are showing so i could do with colouring them. Other than that, i think its a great car. A lot better feeling in quality on the road than my st500.
