My problem is that when I first get in the car and drive it the fan works - however when I stop get back in after about 5 mins it stops working - then comes back on again about 15mins later. It seems to be getting worse.
I had a quick look under the panel and cleaned the contacts up but no...

It does sound like its not fireing on all cylinders.
Its easy to take the inlet off... just a couple of bolts and some sensors that need unplugging.
Why do you need an MOT or Tax?
Alot of people who attend trackdays have a trackday dedicated car that is trailored there - so will not have any MOT and tax.
YOu can try and put the resistors directly into the large connector which sits sirectly in the cowling.... I tried and still didnt work.
Best bet is to cover the recesses in the cowling.
Traction control light will be due to the sensor behind the wheel.... as stated Renault will sort it.

Mine did the same so I just covered up the cavity where the leds go in the binnacle - guide is also found in my website.

Use the resistors - if you have a connection that doesnt work - hence the light not going out [like my steering wheel] then remove your binnacle and cover up the recesses where the lights go.

Not an issue - the center is marked by a ridge so you acnnot missalign it. PITA when tracking though.
