Yep - but you may find it doesnt stop the lights coming on.
If this happens have a look in my website:-

I currently have Orange broadband 1MB connection... 2GB Download capped... £17.99 a month.
So obviously I need to sort something out!
I have just ordered a new laptop [already have a laptop and desktop] so I am going to create a mini local wireless network.
I have just upgraded to Orange...
ALL FIXED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I dismantled the connections - tried to remove the motor and fan. Whilst doing this I gave the motor a couple of taps with a small hammer, just incase the motor had stuck. I cleaned the connections - then reconnected it all up and Viola!!! Its Alive...
I think my motor is sticking.
When I get chance Im going to join the live wires over to create a connection to the motor so that I can rule to motor out or not.
Then Im going to remove the motor and check for obvious problems - then order one up if I cant fix :(
Fred - what was the fix BTW?
My motor sounds grumbly - then dies when on 1 bar - and cant get it back working OK.
Can someone get me the part numbers for the motor/fan and the resistor pack for a 2002 172 Air Con
Thanks.
Chris
:)
^^^ I have just ordered a Dell Inspiron ^^^
Should be made and delivered within 10 days!
Now both myself and the missus have a laptop - no more clothes shopping on my machine!!!
;)
Yep - Im going to cross the 2 x black wires coming out of the resistor pack connection - if the fan blows then I know it is OK and it will be the resistor pack....
Are all clio fan-motor units the same? Because there seems to be 2 x types on Autotrader parts - 1 x for non aircon and 1 x for...
After a long run today ;)
The heater didnt work for the first half of the journey - but did on the second half.
However it started to sound like it was 'chugging' ... almost like a diesel car tickover.... I then turned the fan down to the first bar - it sounded like it was struggling then...

:)
Those prices are killing you!!! lol
I wouldnt mess with bodging subframes - you dont mess with safety.
Cough up the money or go to a professional metalworks fabricator.
Looking lovely Mark - Like the decal. ;)
At one point I went far too aggressive!!!! Its not so bad now!
PS.. Yozza's cup was really agressive in comparison! ;)
I have modified bump stops ;) - plus its been raised about 10/15mm since the above pic.
Hitting the bump stops is very dangerous when taking things near the limit.
Luckily I chose FK Konigsports which have very stiff springs [compared to most on the market]
Yes you need your camber, tracking, and basically a full geo done - pref a MS one.
Mine is so well setup [by me] that I would have come 3rd in the RAF Sprint day @ Barkston heath - and that includes all different types of cars. Or maybe its the driver ;) :D
