    stripped rear

I sprayed mine all silver so it looks really neat... and used silver tubing to cover the wires. Looks good IMO - however if I was a tart I would get the rear quarter panels covered in a sheet of carbonfibre. Money not well spent IMO - Id rather spend it on tuning goodies or a Mocal oil cooler/...

    Gunk in Oil filler cap

How can you be so sure? the gunk is from oil and water mixing. If I was the owner I would get a sniffer done to be sure.

    Gunk in Oil filler cap

The dreaded HGF. Is it like mayo - creamy gunk? Have a look in your coolant tank it should have an oily film or yet more gunk in it. Is it overheating? Does it blow steam through the exhaust?

    VX220 to V6

Probably because you had AMD RR it? TMS has a Dyno Dynamics RR. The TMS day had loads of different cars that had different remaps done [by other tuners] and most of the NA's were down on gains. The Tubbies had OK results with Cheeky Chops having the best figures having a full blueflame and...

    Heater Problems

Yes - I had the FF aircon removed - condensor - pump - pipes - etc, and had the Clio Cup alternator and bracket installed. Yep - I think resistor pack too! I'll have to order one up when I get a chance.... although my heaters do still work - just not intermittently! It would be a PITA if it...

    VX220 to V6

I wouldnt bother modding the VX220 NA for power increases unless you bolting on a supercharger. I had induction and exhaust and was happy with the noise. I went to the TMS RR meet and when my car was std it made exactly the manufacturer claims. However I had mates who had a STG 2+ remap with...

    VX220 to V6

Hi mark who are you from .org? I was going to do the V6 thing but I wasnt impressed IMO... bought a 172 and spent the rest of the cash on upgrades for the track ... its now very formidable with the same steering feel as the VX ... and very quick! The V6 is quite quick but not as fast as you...

    Crooked Steering Wheel

The rear wheels are non adustable on a Clio. I can see what you mean about gauging the alignment for the front from the rear wheels though. Like I said getting a fancy alignment/geo done is useless unless the steering wheel is locked straight first - that is the only way to get your wheel...
