This was possible on my VX220 by snipping a wire and feeding them into the cabin and putting a switch on it. Can this be done in the 172?

I got mine from machine mart - takes no time at all to get any bolt off the car/suspension/etc now!

Mine stopped working today for about 1 min - then started up on its own again!

I have taken out the liners however not due to scrubbage - but to aid brake cooling. I have ultra low profile tyres 195/40/R16's which have a plus side of not scrubbing. I think its a common side affect of having a low car with splitters! The 172 looks ridiculously low with the splitter on...

How about on the rear quarter window. You lucky getting one of those... my cars been there for loads of work and I still havent got any.

Ding^ with the braided hoses - I got Goodridge Stainless Steel hoses.

You dont need drilled or grooved disks..... The Brembo Hi Carbons are great for the job. Spend you money on decent pads :)

Like I said as long as the pieces fit together like a jigsaw - nice and neatly. Quite an easy job... just make sure you score the surface where the fibreglass gets bonded to. Cheers Steve ;)

^^^^ Its the SUV look ;)^^^^ You should have mate - fixing a broken splitter is dead easy as long as the cracks/splits are clean.

Thanks, I did do a calculation but forgot the figures! [I weighed all the seats and aircon etc... have a look on my website for figures] but have also not weighed some stuff removed ... I have removed quite alot. The only things that havent been removed are some of the wiring loom, front...

I had prolines on my VX for a period of time before changing again! They were great over the std Eibachs fitted.

Depends what tyre is on it. I had 2 x sets of Turini's. One set with 195/45/16's, and one set with 195/40/16s T1-R's and the difference in weight was really surprising when carrying both side to side [T1R's were really light].

Yes you have to declare interior mods. I wouldnt like to fit an aftermarket wheel without some buckets and harnesses - due to lack of airbags.

Well I got the code.... entered it in - pressed and held 6 - and now I just get CODE! Grrrrrrr! Its my track car and have rippe dout the CD player but it would be nice to have a radio!
