If you take up a Warranty with any company they will not cover non standard parts and mods. If your car is serviced and as per Renault schedule and all OE then you'll be ok. Also read the smallprint, the Warranty may cover less than you think.

For the price and your requirements they seem to be a bargain. It seems they are not a well known brand and quality unknown. Yes. go for them and tell us later what they ride like. If they are crap then it doesn't matter too much, you haven't spent a fortune.

As been said earlier, what ever car you have there will always be one faster than you.

They look like Land Rover or other 4x4 springs. Sell them on Ebay when you find out which vehicle.

If you are not a regular track day person then the normal DS's or Reno OE pads will be better. The 2500's do take some time to warm up to give the better stopping power. When cold The 2500 feel dull and do not perform as you would expect.

Fitting new OE bearings today. They have a convex side and a flat side and I want to know which side faces uppermost. I should have remembered which way round they were when I dismantled the struts but have forgot.

The new strut you have is the same shape as mine and is the correct one with no rubber cup. The old strut you have taken off is probably non OE or an older design.

You just have to use your existing top mounts. New struts don't come withe mounting kit.

Some cars use a bit of oil and some don't, it doesn't mean there is anything wrong. If your car uses about 1/2litre in 5k miles then thats ok, any more then I would be worried. My 80k miler Cup hasn't used any oil in 2k miles and that included a track day.

If it's skipping as you say your whole set up is too stiff, it will be lethal when driving in the wet. If it's adjustable taken off some tension and soften up the Konis at the rear to start with. As you have a Cup I wouldn't think a rear ARB is a worthwhile upgrade.

The first thing I would ask the vendor is why is it a cat C or D. If its flood damage don't buy it.
