They do Idle lumpy the MPG seems bad i cane mine and get 31-33 all day.
how you working the MPG out? with the computer? or gallons used per ammount put in?
If you are in the UK then Nick hill of Hill power is able to convert the throttle to cable.
You will loose the ESP as the ESP used the throttle to cut power when its in use.
200+ is possible using a single body although you will need cams and a remap obviously due to the new cam duration the...
im sure it would show up on paper a few extra BHP but i dont belive in rolling roads so i wouldnt know. even had the car re-mapped for the exhaust mani.

there's one in cumbria on ebay for sale big end has gone, other things could be damaged also adding to the bill if your not doing the labour it can ammount to a pretty penny.
this is how you do it mate
back of the engine remove all 9 bolts that hold the manifold to the engine
dont need to move the earth strap it has enough give in it.
put the car on the lift you will have to put the 2 front posts on the sills (careful)
there are 2 triangular peices of metal...
if your being anal then flush the coolant circuit out also change the coil pack. oil cooler works but with it being cold you'll prob have to tape it up till march
