I had this issue and it was resolved by changing rear shocks and springs, another big contributor was the fact I had really crap tyres on.... What tyres have you got??
Also, a long time ago some muppett put a directional tyre on the wrong way, and the car pulled all over the place! Check that too??
I think it would take forever to find and cure every buzz/rattle in a Clio lol!
Maybe try removing them and fixing them back on with silicone??? Unfortunately I don't think it will be obvious exactly which part of them is causing the rattle.
Mate, I had 6 garages look over mine and not one of them noticed the rear shock was completely knackered. I even specifically asked them to check the shocks!! lol
The only way you'll know for sure is to check them your self. It's surprising what kind of difference one failed rear shock makes...
I had this issue.
Turned out my rear shocks were knackered, and I had a rear coil spring go as well. Replacing these improved the handling.
I also had budget tyres on which really didn't help, once these were replaced that also really helped!
The cars, in my opinion, are quite twitchy anway.
I went to see Fred to have him check it. When he opened the door to his work shop it was flooded!! :-O
He said the brakes probably just needed cleaning but he said my dephaser was dead, and also my aux belt tensioner looked like it could give up at any moment.
He had no spaces for about a...
Lol. I see that all the time.
There's at least 3 different silver 1*2's around. And quite a few black ones.
Seen a couple of racing blue ones too.
I saw a silver 225 the other day, looked tidy.
This has come back with a vengeance.
Used some contact cleaner and now it's worse!!!
The fogs don't actually come on but the dash light comes on properly now rather than just flickering.
Ideas please??
Lmao. I suppose that's not a bad price for new parts. The linkage is a pretty big part tbh.
Comes out with about 2/3 bolts. So you'll be alright doing it your self.
Sweet thanks!!
Trip to hellfrauds for a plain plate tomorrow then!! Can't be bothered with the hastle of getting pulled over for a smaller plate, regardless of how much better they look.
My original alloys were knackered when I bought the car. Bought some turinis off here that could do with a refurb but they aren't to bad.
When I do park near a kirb I just park about 3ft away now :-) haha
Maybe the original owner flipped back and forth or something then...
The car is a UK spec and as far as I can see was imported from new so... It's a 2002 on an '02. I can't find any differences between mine and a non imported model.
Mine doesn't have an alarm but I think thats because it's an...
As title really.
Does my car HAVE to have GB on the front number plate as it's an import...??
Thinking of getting the smaller front plate and wanted to check before ordering.

Easy job!! :-)
My wiper arms were a bi*** to take off and I learnt about the ball joint thing the hard way... well worth it!
Garage quoted me £75 to change my washer bottle...
Flux quoted me about £2,000 to cover my 172 without mods declared... lmao!
I'm 24 with 1 year NCB, went with Bell for £750 fully comp with mods declared!
Flux have always quoted me STUPID prices for as long as I can remember.
