I think a garage that's done a few jobs recently has broken the drivers side arch liner, the part towards the front of the bumper if that makes sense.
I THINK I can see my alternator pulleys, which are now obviously exposed to the elements.
Will this cause any problems... or can I leave it as...
Thing that made it harder is that it comes curled up in a box so it's constantly flexing.
Good design though. I doubt it would snap easily as it's quite a soft material.
Can't complain it costs next to nothing.
When jacking the car up at the front as so...
The back wheel actually leaves the floor before the front one... It seems to take forever to get the front one off the ground. I haven't noticed this on the other side of the car but to be honest I forgot to check.
Is this normal?
Wasn't to bad. Helps if you have someone to make sure it's lined up properly and to hold it for you.
I was just drilling small guide holes then screwing a 2cm self tapper in.
Had to trim it with a Stanley knife at one end as opposed to both... I didn't line it up right. Haha. Luckily it...
I ordered some off eBay on 28th Dec. Still not got em. Only just got money back.
I'd get then from ktec, bit more but guaranteed to gave correct fitting...
This happened to me when someone put a directional tyre on the wrong way... Have you checked that you've not accidentally put a wheel back on the wrong side??
Sounds like shocks though... :-S
If he's respraying the whole bumper maybe...
I'll try find out what my mum paid she had a similar scuff, i'm sure it was about half that to be honest... some little independent place in Nuneaton. Did a great job!
That's the sort of length I had in mind.
I don't own any stands. I have ramps. Although I have to remove bumper to use them so.... Haha!!
Think there's something in the guides section showing best places to jack etc....
