I got a purple one too, makes the steering wheel vibrate at idle! and it drones too, but i can't hear it over the exhaust! lol. but on the plus side the gear change is loads better and it seems quicker! dunno how just does

Oh fred, can i have your babies? if you could that would be ace. i looking to put jenvey bodies on, cams etc so i need to know where to piggyback the omex into the standard ecu . thanks again Daz
I've just fiteed a ktec chrome adjustable strut brace, and was wondering how much to adjust it? i know you should 'pull' the tops of the struts inwards, but by how much?
Cheers Daz
I got 215/40 16 toyo proxies on my cup, awesome grip, even in the wet, the steering feel is still the same, the rims are a bit more protected, but you can still curb them. the tyres now look like they belong on the rims, not like before with 195's, and they are cheep too!

The engine light is either your cat has died or the rear lambda sensor has died.
the speedo and radio problem will be something to do with the speed sensor or wires as the signal goes to both radio and speedo

A grommet?
or just do it properly and get a new bit of plastic made up, it will look that much better! after all are you after a smooth look?
There is bound to be a plastic welding company that would be able to sort sommat

I've just bought the same strut as you, and was wondering when it's fitted and tightening it, do you 'pull' the tops of the struts together or 'push' them apart, when adjusting it?
Daz
i'm getting one, cos i'm probably doing more damage by trying to change too quick! lol
My old 205 had a custom quick shift (extra short) it was loads better, i crunched the gears less when i was driving quickly.
Daz
Nope not that, did the MOT style crowbar lift wheel thing and there's no play in the bottom ball joint.
has anyone got any piccys of the rack so i can have a look at the joints on the rack cos it's reall hard to see anything.
Thanks Daz
I have play in my drivers' side wheel when jacked up, sides not top / bottom. I know this means steering not wheel bearing, however the play cannot be felt in the track rod end so that points to the rack! the steering wheel doesn't move on small movement but the opposite wheel does which again...
