Ben R totally disagree. 3 year warranty is very important. I chucked silly money away at my Mk1 because it was modded, when arguably the reapirs in the first year would have been done under warranty. Why advertise, when they are not going to do it. Christ in this months Evo I think it is...
Spoke to R Sport today regarding the Cup upgrades. Spoke to someone who basically said that so far there only an ECU mod. He went on to say that the upgrades listed in the adverts were all wrong, that seats would never happen etc etc. I asked about suspension and he said that maybe in the...
Is there a difference between Cup and 172. What companies are doing exhausts, that sit in the bumper, i.e. need a cut out, and are R Sport doing an exhaust. Cheers
Trouble with other cars on the market is that in terms of acceleration the Clio wins hands down. I think the Cup was described as being the fastest car for under 20k. My Mk1 172 was in gear as fast as most Imprezas I came across on the road, and that gave alot of satisfaction. I think the...
I have to agree, Renaults build quality is not the best in the world, my Mk1 was terrible at the beggining of its life. However to say the cup is dull, I have to disagree. My Mk1 ran 14.5 1/4s all day long with Viper, CAT Pipe exhaust and other bits. It was in a way much more racecar like...
Yeah Viper soon, traction control is a bit of a problem , because they dont have wheel spped sensors, but got few ideas to get around that, hopefully should pull better than 14.5 with a few chioce mods, saying that not going to be doing as many launches as that f**ked my old car.
After much deliberation I have finally hung the gloves up on my Mk1 172. After a relatively hard life, and pending repairs, I decidied to trade it. I have done 190ish miles today in the Cup, and can safely say it is one of the best handling cars I have driven. I spent the majourity of the...
Need new rear axle bushes, knackered, and car feels like death, Mk1 172 (slammed), does anybody know of a company who produce these and are their more conventional poly bush kits available for the front?
Cheers Tim O
Sorry for know explanation, the theme of the other thread, was how small things change cars, and to me it didnt look that low, so I tweaked it in photoshop, and de locked it, and made the wheels about 16", small things can make the car look different
