Cheers guys, spoke to Weber yesterday, the kit is currently still under development and will be released shortly. 30bhp easy, and apprx 1500-1700 quid, + fitting. Or you do it it yourself, saving up.
Cup 200+bhp Silly!!
Ben no disrespect but when you say our clio, who are you, a comapny, or do you mean our clio as in your car. I think the TB kit comes with everything it is in the Demon Tweeks catalogue manifold, ECU, bodies, and other bits.
Open air induction kits can work in the colder months, LAD have already noted that this is not a long term decision, they are wanting to develop something alomng the lines of the 106 gti peugoet sport items for the car. Saying that I have a Viper at home!!
I saw a car at Well Lane Turbo centre with the same exhaust they had cut the bumper and it was slightly recessed. They reckons there is vertical adjustment in the boxes, is this correct, because I think they look really good tucked up in the bumper.
cheers
First thing to say is look at the pictures:
The car looked striking with the gold alloys, I had toyed with this idea but initially not thought much of it as it felt like I was jumping on the Impreza, Williams band wagon. The car was fitted with an open air pipercross filter, a devil backbox...
Had another great day in Cup today done 1500 miles, out with dad for blast in 340r, Clio put up good fight through the gears!!
It is just getting better and better, drove LAD car on Saturday but will talk about that later.
Anyway Cups rule .

My car standard 15.054 quarter at 92, chip, viper through fog, backbox, decat. 14.5 at 95. Same strip. Ran 14.5 all last year over and over. 172s dont resond to mild mods...
Clio RS Mk1.
Umm?
Rubbish 16s and 15s have a different rolling radiius full stop. 195 50 15 versus 195 45 16.
Look at the results:
15s diameter: 22.7
16s diameter: 22.9
Extra weight and wheel size change is why the gearing was changed.
Your speedo will be 1% to slow. Sorry...
Borrow a video camera, and stick a mate at the side of the road, I had loads of in car footage but it wasnt worth it, couldnt see a thing, need one of those dash board mounting kits, especially for track days, and so on!!

Save target as.
Cheers look at the stills, in the video!!
today in the yorkshire dales
Chip was superchip, 7kg is light and will be less than the standard unit. Thought about those Speedline wheels, but have a set of nearly new superlegs, so thoughtt I would have them powered coated. Sticking to 15" tho, 195 50 15 might allow bit more compliance on the road. The cup ride worse...
What is the limiter on the cup?
Mine seems to be varying and I know it is not down to the engine being cold, as I never drive hard with a cold engine. Cheers Tim O.
