Mate York is so much more sticky than Santa Pod it is a joke, I am aiming for a lot lower than that at York. PS my time was without my Racelogic Traction Control.

First thing to say was that the surface was terrible when I first arrived, like ice, not wet but crap, they apologised and said it was something to do with the glue they put on the surface and water from last night. Anyway... Cup 2000 miles, R Sport ECU, 15" 195 50 15...

R Sport have said that the ECU is basically similar to the programmes for the Group N Car but with everything in there needed for a raod car, such as central locking, and immobiliser etc. Ordering mine in about 1/2 an hour. Tim O.

I know this sounds daft but the R Sport ECU is supposed to be just for the Cup and evidently, according to R Sport will not fit other 172s (i.e. Mk2 172s). The ECU has been developed for the road going 172. What would stop you from fitting the Group N Ecu from the rally cars such as this...

Simon, I raced a 150 Aniversary at York Dragway with an APR chip someone from the Mk 4 forum, it ran 15.2 at 92, very quick for a diesel, a chipped 1.8t petrol (150) ran more or less the same, still not fast enough to take my 172 at 14.5 that day but fast enough!!

I proably will be ordering the ECU tommorow for my car, can I have some more feedback for the people with the ECU and what there cars are feeling and performing like. Cheers. Tim O.
