renault used to use sigma as an after market fitment alarm for years. not a bad unit and didnt give any more trouble than any other alarm ever did. its rated cat 1 which is good as well.
unbolt the box from the engine,tip it up and pull it out from the top. you might have to unbolt a few things to make room to lift it out but its easier than dropping the subframe or taking the engine out.
the annoying part is trying to hold it all togethor whilst you put it in place and push the support rod back through. you get it half way in,your fingers slip and it all falls apart aaaaarrrrrggggghhhh!!!!!!!!

does the track rod end screw into the track arm (male track rod end) or does the track arm screw into the track rod end? (female track rod end). have a look or post a pic of yours and i will tell you.

if its spinning then the threads must be damaged in the head or the plug has sheared,either way you are probably going to need to take the head off im afraid.
basically yes but you cant rag it all the time. there will always be a point where your just cruising. normally it can only self test between 2500rpm and 3500rpm under light throttle conditions.if you have a decat just unplug the 2nd sensor.
