Ahh I see, this is just more than a sqeek!
I got some anti squeal pads by the look of it with the rear pads I didn't use. Wortyh fitting these then. Also what do you mean by the rear of the brake surface? Cheers
Well Monday just gone, had a brake upgrade done. Brembo HC's, Mintex fast road pads, braided lines and Dot5 fluid. Now car was Ok first day, but now it sounds like a Bus. No lie. Get the most amazing squeek ever. What can I do. I know performance pads can make more of a noise but this is bluddy...
Too low is when your on the bumpstop, and you haven't got no travel in the suspension. I reckon when the wheels have around a 10mm gap all the way round the arch, just looks right imo
Edit. - Above pic spot on.
Got the same as Karen, just need to get it fitted.
- Managed to get Brembo HC's for £66 from GDI,
- Mintex M1444 front/rear pads for £60 (I love ebay, check BBPT as they are doing them for £70)
- Goodridge lines £45 (again ebay)
All prices included del and vat
Very nice Marie. Go for the engine work
Sarah I supplied Maz with the cover, got it off ebay, i'll have a look see if I can find them. (Glad you got it fitted Marie :approve: )
Hi people.
dunno if you can help. I have a bent passenger hub on my PH1 172. I have been told this is the hub ring or flange, bit that the wheel bolts connects to. I am in need of one, I have a part number which is 7700415121, but Renault are quoting £200+vat. Is this right. Anyone suggest...
Problem with slaming is the lack of travel on the dampers, found this out with my H+R's. Mine is setup for a decent height, tyres are out of the arches by about 15mm, but I think Im going to have the rear raised a little more. Going to MrFish this saturday so see what I can do.
Did you cut off the original speaker connector, If so, check the connector to see which wire is pos/neg. Rainbow's should have marking by each coonector telling you which it is, normally find the bigger of the 2 connectors is +.
Just use Torx T30 bit I think, what I use
As per fuelrail cover need a mini ratchet and socket, 10mm I think, and place it in 2 of the 3 holes on the front, under and pull off.
