I've been quoted £260 to get my turinis refurbed, that's not with my tyres fitted and me supplying bare rims. Does this seem about right? It's a long way off the £80 city fefurbs charge but they're 2hrs from me unfortunately
Anyone know what is the soonest I can apply a rattle can basecoat over Electrox?
Bilt Hamber say 96 hours which seems extreme, I want to be able to get this thing back on the ground!
I was thinking of taking them up to city powder coaters in Brum, anyone used them and can they do anthracite type colours?
£160 for a straight set of cup turinis needing a refurb sound a good price?
I'm thinking of getting some turinis for my flame red but cant decide whether to go for silver or a more anthracite colour, any one got any photos of theirs flamers on turinis?
I'm just not a yellow car fan, the premium on Liquid yellow for example is wasted on me. Even though petrol blue etc were a bit more expensive but the colour cant have been enough to convince many to order them.
Deox gel is the business! Only slight query I have is how to stop flash rusting when rinsing it off pitted metal, I've tried blasting with a hot hairdryer while toweling it down but still get a bit
I've got a standard 172 that I've replaced all worn shocks with cup versions, no noticable difference to my 182 cup packed car to drive. I personally think the cup packed 60mm hub thing is a bit of a red herring.
I did wonder this, as I'm going away for a week and not going to get time to finish I had thought of giving it a coat of electrox to protect it while I'm gone.
