This is pretty much the same for all the hot hatches out there at the moment, there is not alot in them
Its like the vid on here of the 182 against the Focus RS there was nothing in it (if anything the clio looked slighlty quicker) within speeds that would be done on the road, after that the...
When you open your door on the 182 there is a plaque that says renaultsport on it, does anyone know how much they cost to buy? part number? and if they are easy to fit remove and fit yourself?
I ask this becuase one of mine is scuffed a bit and I would like to replace it
Cliosport sticker came the other day and the reg vardy sticker is off and the cliosport one is now on, ive also bought some caps to cover the screws up on my number plate
I will clean her on sunday and post some pics
Disagree with that, a CTR or 182 will keep up with a Meg 225 through the gears (30-70), but if you are in the wrong gear cars with higher amounts of torque will be much quicker
Do we have a list on here of Renault Specialists? and if so there location?
The reason is that Im not sure where to take mine, i can take it to my dad's mate who will do a good job (genuine parts) but he will only be able to sign the book as he would be servicing it in is spare time
or...
I have used optimax from day one and the reason for this is because other than the Tesco fuel which I dont believe you can get up north, it is the only fuel which is 98 ron and thats what Renault reccommend and also for the cleaning agents which should ensure the engine still runs at optimum...
You see alot of fiesta on the road but it doesnt mean its a good car, be reasoable the V6 was never going to sell well becuase it is catering for such a small market.
As it has been said before you buy the V6 with your heart not with your head
yeah it showed you a range rover a V6 255 turning will full lock on and the v6 didnt couldnt turn round on the runway without going on the grass, the range rover did it quite easy
true, but the same can be said that theres no point in buying a sport cars if it looks like a standard saloon with a stupid massive spoiler nailed to the back of it, no matter how fast it goes
yes i agree the turning circle is a right pain
as for the V6,Clarkson once said 'oil tanker captains have been known to say that their ships have the turning circles of clio V6's!
Mines got nearly 7k on it now and the other day its the 1st time I have ever seen the traction control light come on whilst accelerating in 2nd gear
So i will take it as my engine is loosening up although to be honest I havent really noticed any difference in performance since the day I got...
yeah i saw that, it doesnt make sense that one test they got the clio 182 to 100 in the 17's and then the next test they got the 182 cup to 100 in the 19's
Does this mean the 182 is faster than the 182 cup?? only kidding!!!
Agree Im not keen on the image, as the only reason you are going to buy one for is to drive it as fast, its not like an M3, S4 etc where you will buy it because its fast but also because of other factors, i.e toys, comfort
Buy an M3 then you can drive around and not everyone will think you...
If i were you and I could afford it I would get another Audi, however Im a massive fan of the S3!
As for the 182 its as quick as an S3 at road legal speeds (not your old S3, I mean a std one) and it will put a smile on your face everytime you drive it. Obviously it wont be built as good or be...
Is that when they 1st arrive? How much if you dont mind me asking?
I really like the look of them and although I dont think it will be any faster than the 182 or handle better, Im convinced it will improve in other areas, build and refinement for one. I will definitely test drive one but cant...
I think the ST is a good car but it is simply underpowered to keep up with the RS clios it would need 200bhp, yes apparently it easy enough to extract that power but then you are adding to the cost of it, particular insurance costs and as the 182/ST are pretty much the same price brand new and...
