Im pretty sure when buying from motorpoint they are imports. The difference between the car and a car supplied from a UK dealer is that there is no alarm in it, no window ethcing and no locking alloy wheel nuts.
I think it would cost about £300-£350 for all these to be fitted
I just say to people i have a clio, 90% have never heard of a 182 so theres no point telling them. If anyone says my car is crap then thats fine as I know how capable it is and I like it and to me thats all that matters.
Have you tried a few dealers mate? the reason I ask is i rang for some touch up paint and some dealers didnt know it existed. If that fails try renault UK
Good luck
You lose loads of money swapping your cars every 18 months as well, I bought my 182 new and intend to keep it for a long time so therefore the depreciation is spread over a longer time, i do agree that buying a new car and selling it after a couple of years is the same as burning your money
As what already been said really, i would stick with the 172 for the moment, wait for the New Renaultsport clio if you like it go for it if not you could then get 182

All int BHP per tonne
Renaultsport Clio 172 Phase 1 162
Renaultsport Clio 172 Phase 2 157
Renaultsport Clio 172 Cup...
very funny, i was in halfords the other day and they sell badges in their which are identical to the sport on 'renaultpsort' No wonder every tom, dick & harry have them on their cars
The 225 is about a 1 sec faster to a 100 than a 172/182, not really sure how many car lengths this equates too but i would imagine its not many (a couple maybe). I would imagine the 225 is so much easier to drive due to the turbo (i.e not having to drop down a gear)
I really like the 225 and...
