I think you will get 11k for it selling it privately, if you swap it in at ford they will probably give you 9.5k-10k for it
I wasnt a big fan of the ST but I went to the ford garage the other day and they had one in that Orange colour and it looked well smart in the flesh. I would prefer a...
I like it, although it should have more power and an equal spec to the 182. Ok its £16.5k but you can get a 225 for that so i assume discounts will be available.
I wont be swapping my 182 for it though, if i get bored of the 182 Ill either change it for another marque or take it to GDI
my brother took direct line to the financial ombusdsman when he got his 330ci stolen (they even interviewed him as they thought it was suspicious, it was the usually keys tolen from the house). They ended up offerering £14000 minus £350 excess and he argued for months with them and it went to...
Id go for the R32, although you are going to be looking at much higher running costs, a larger initial outlay for a car with loads more miles on it.
There are many plus though better build etc
I wouldnt bother with the 197, similar to the 182 and will probably have the usual Renault faults
MPG depends on what sort of driving, i usually do A and B roads (non town drving) and I can see anything upto 37mpg although once you start to open it up you are looking at 30mpg. Normally Im looking at about 325 miles to a tank
I would def go for the cup packs, I went for it bascially...
Yeah i polished yesterday and when I uploaded the picture I couldn't believe how shiny it looked compared to the orginal pre cliosport sticker photo!
The polish must work
Finally I have got round to taking a picture after removing the reg vardy sticker, putting the cliosport sticker on and sorting out the number plate screws
I bought my car from Reg Vardy Rotherham and the service was good so I think im going to take my car there. I would take it to GDI but its a bit far for me
It looks fantastic, I have just done the inside of mine and after my football match tomorrow i shall do the outside (wont be spending six hours on it though!)
That calculation is not right, if he paid 95p for a litre and put £32 in his car then that would mean he would have had about 34litres of petrol in his car.
Thats works out about 33.5mpg! to get 42mpg you would have had to do 320miles
It should have had over 200bhp, at the moment its 8bhp per tonne down on the full fat 182. Yes it is bigger, more comfortable and more refined but thats not what the Renaultsport Clios have been about. If i wanted something like that then Id go for the Megane 225
totally agree priced way too high(CTR money or for a bit more 225 or ST money) Renaultsport have renowned themself for providing the best bang per buck. the 172/182 certainly provided that and the 225 is still up there with the best in terms of performance, im not convinced that the 197 is going...
They really are fantastic value for money, and its the way the power is delivered thats creates all the fun. My brother used to have a 330ci similar performance to the 182, but that felt really refined where as the 182 is insane
