Mine had this problem but from cold starts, turned out the map sensor had come apart so that's worth a check, might be battery not sure, or maybe coilback?

I got mine fitted at a place called "Lee clutches and gearboxes" in Lee/Lewisham, cost me £120 in labour to have my clutch fitted, and that's on a cup, i was amazed, thought it would be about 300ish!
