Ah yes, thats it then. I have clifford concept 650 with blackjax.
The remote start has stopped working on it. Any chance you could shed light on this too.:)
Never tracked down what this could be. I have a clifford alarm, was wondering if it was linked to this?
It's just one wire trailing from the coil pack connector to somewhere behind the bulkhead heatshielding near bonnet release cable grommet area.
Another long shot, anyone ever tried removing these without dropping subframe?
I am hoping as they can be broken down into seperate bits that they will come out top of engine bay. Wish me luck!
crap i think. However I have thought about using a 25,000 rpm motor from work to achieve similar results although I dont think they can flow enough air.
Anyway, you'll need a remap if it could work and that means more money.
If its properly stuck you can remove the head unit and pop off the casing top to try and get the cd out. iirc you will need to remove the front from the headunit by undoing a few screws then pop the top off. Its fairly easy.
ah b****cks, yeh do it crash and die. Take out a load of kids with you and put all our insurance premiums up by voiding your insurance....
just my view.
have you managed to drive on then? I think I'll get some bits of woods as well to give a bit more clearance of the splitter.
I need to try and remove exhaust downpipe from the turbo, dont want to be taking wheels off or subframe...
Thinking about adding some ramps to my kit. I would feel safer under the car with these. Plus i think I can safely get more working space compared to stands.
Anyone had experience using ramps vs trolley jack and axle stands?
I'm after some titanium M10 studs for fitting turbo to manifold as the ones I have keep shearing. Been searching for a few days, anyone got any ideas please?
I know the jap lot like to use these...
Thanks.
yeh, a turbo running rich, that's not normal is it? (Note sarcasm)
Incidentally the map was done by henk.....it was running rich at fast idle, why it failed mot and was running too lean everywhere else!.... says alot for the mapping.....
Now the car has been remapped by paul at rstuning and...
Well I got back in today and I must be getting old, or its the crappy weather, but it was boring.:o
On the plus side I'm getting fitter riding my bike, I think I could live quite happily without my car now.
What's the longest anyone has gone without their car for and could you live without...
