Coming out of corners in the correct gear, there is next to no lag from the turbo. Second gear rolling is just mental. You do need to be higher up in the revs to get the boost though.
lmao! Honest, I am a very careful driver especially in the wet. A recent trackday I went on showed me that what i think is quick driving is slow ghey driving.lol.
Anyway, it's all sorted, there was technically no insurance claim with the hire car company they paid the extra money.
My insurer...
Well I went backwards for a bit then hit a kerb, was just pootling along too. I should have taken pictures. I was lucky there was no body damage, just a rear wheel bent underneath the car....
It's my first crash on the road too glad it wasn't in the 182.
because i was told it was going to be over 1500, just found out 5 minutes ago the exact cost.
I've just found out the exact cost to my policy I'll keep you all guessing for a bit longer.....
I have paid £25 just to get all the documents sent to me to prove I have disclosed everything, I'm...
And told the insurance....I can't take the risk of not telling them anything, but how much you reckon it will affect my insurance premium?
I bent the rear axle on a fiesta hire car just before my insurance renewal and the bill came to around £600. I paid a £500 excess :dapprove: so it's...
I am guesssing it had a cambelt failure hence the new cambelt. They probably thought we'll whack on a new belt and might be lucky and have no damage, but it's misfiring.lol. I guess this means some valves may be buggered....
I would have to say no as you should well know.lol. You will be changing weight distribution in the car. If you got four of them however, it will work, or if you could return the car to exactly the same orientation then maybe...
It's not the head to manifold studs, they are ok..touch wood.
I will try tightening up as loose as possible, but also getting some super strong ones custom made so they should take the strain when the everything starts expanding and contracting.
I am also looking at cutting the down pipe and...
The problems are annoying things like exhaust rattles and studs breaking. Could cost hundreds to replace about £20 worth of parts so I'm doing it all myself.
Another one is a coolant pipe has been damaged, I only assume it was done by the last people I let near the car.
It's only silly...
I used the exif data in some software to lookup focal length when taking pictures.lol. boring.:o
But yeh, you can get the original date assuming the date was set correct the day it was taken.

mine is in bits.lol. Driven it for two days in four weeks.
First of the road for 3 weeks due to needing a remap. Now off the road due to a coolant pipe leak and blowing exhaust manifold. All minor things thankfully, but I am starting to miss driving.:dapprove:
Wont be getting used much now...
